An even more interesting fact is modern Christmas, which falls on December 25th for most,  is actually a pagan and Roman holiday.  The Romans celebrated their god Saturn on this day during a festival called Saturnalia. The pagans celebrated on this day as well, and guess what gift giving was a big part of their celebration.  So, Christmas  and the occult are inextricably intertwined with modern day Christmas up to and including the Christmas tree.

Just remember the next time you criticize a psychic, Astrologer, or Pagan that many of our traditions, holidays, and celebrations were originally theirs.  Let's try to keep an open mind this Christmas season folks;  showing some cultural tolerance for our differences, that in reality are not all that different.  Happy Holidays!
